Buy compute credits
AxonOS access is prepaid. You buy credits — denominated in minutes of GPU time — and spend them by running desktop or SSH-only sessions. There's no subscription or general public free trial; operators may separately enable limited, invite-only guest demos.
Topping up
After you've connected your wallet and the balance is 0 or too low, the wallet card switches to the payment panel automatically. You can also open it at any time.
Choose a currency and amount
Select the USDC, ETH, or AXGT tab (available currencies depend on the operator), then enter an amount at or above the server-provided minimum. You can also use a quick-amount button.
Review the server-calculated result
The hosted wizard requests a current server-side quote and shows the resulting credits and estimated runtime, including any applicable holder discount or direct-payment bonus. It may not show the raw AXGT/USD figure, and the browser does not decide how many credits you receive.
Approve payment and automatic verification
Approve the wallet transaction. AxonOS submits it for server-side verification and polls for a bounded period while the network reaches the operator-configured confirmation count.
Recover with the transaction hash if needed
If polling stops or the page is interrupted, reopen the payment flow and paste the transaction hash into Credit deposit. Keep the hash until your balance updates; the same transaction cannot be credited twice.
If you transferred funds directly to the revenue wallet, paste the transaction hash into the verification field and click Credit deposit — AxonOS credits it the same way.
Payment options
💎ETH
Holding AXGT can discount the server-quoted ETH amount (see below).
💵USDC
A Base stablecoin option, verified on-chain. Supported hosted flows apply holder tiers.
🪙AXGT
The hosted service enables this rail and currently configures a +25% flat payment bonus.
Save with AXGT
You don't need to pay in AXGT to benefit from it. When you pay in ETH, AxonOS checks your wallet's AXGT balance and applies a discount tier to supported ETH/USDC pricing:
| Tier | AXGT held | Discount |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 0 | 0 – 99 | 0% |
| Tier 1 | 100 – 999 | 5% |
| Tier 2 | 1,000 – 9,999 | 10% |
| Tier 3 | 10,000 – 99,999 | 15% |
| Tier 4 | 100,000+ | 25% |
Pay with ETH. Save with AXGT.
Direct AXGT payment is separate: it uses the current protected server-side USD quote and the operator-configured flat bonus. It does not receive a holder tier on top. Direct AXGT deposits are disabled by default for self-hosted installations, while the hosted AxonOS service currently enables them.
See Pricing & AXGT for the full breakdown and Payment Rails & Tokenomics for the economic model.
How crediting works
When you deposit, AxonOS verifies everything on-chain before crediting — it never trusts a client-reported amount:
- Confirms the transaction has enough block confirmations.
- For native ETH, checks transaction sender, recipient, value, status, and confirmations. For USDC and AXGT, checks the ERC-20 transfer log together with transaction status and confirmations. The authenticated wallet must be the sender and the configured revenue wallet the recipient.
- For ETH, re-reads your AXGT balance to resolve your discount tier.
- Credits the corresponding minutes to your balance and records the deposit (each transaction is credited at most once).
While a transaction is confirming, the page shows it as pending and polls automatically for a bounded period. If it stops before crediting, the payment is not necessarily lost: retain the transaction hash, reopen or refresh the payment flow, and use Credit deposit.
Your balance
- Credits are minutes and they don't expire — unused credit persists between sessions.
- Running a session deducts minutes via a heartbeat while it's active (larger GPU profiles burn faster — see Launch a GPU session).
- When you run low, the desktop warns you; top up again to keep going.
If you keep a persistent volume, a small storage charge accrues against your balance even when no session is running. Learn how this works in Files & persistent storage.
